Couldn't be a more beautiful backdrop for the first kiss as husband and wife.	The Bride proudly displays her beautiful bouquet.
The tables were set for awaiting guests.	The table centerpieces fun florals and candles.
Before dinner the guests enjoy a spread of caviar, smoked salmon and fine champagne.	Dinner is served.
The cake awaits the first cut.	And they sailed happily into the great blue with one last thing to do... get to the Honeymoon!

If I wanted to have a small romantic wedding in a very short time frame, how would I go about it? Any info you can provide would be welcome.

Dear Mary,
The first thing that need to figure out is exactly what you must have at your wedding and what isn‘t as important. The next step you need to do is prioritize your wedding list. Since your time is short and must be utilized wisely. Make a check list and assign who will take care of what task. Then consider ways of doing those tasks more efficiently.

Some examples are:

Using email invitations rather than mailed ones.
Registering Online so you don’t have to go to the store in person.
Creating a Bridal website for all of your details and info so you can keep track of: your tasks, who’s done what, and keep your family and friends easily updated.
Choosing a location like a family member’s home so you don’t run into days already booked by other brides
Doing your flowers in a more casual manner such as: using a beautiful potted plant for your center pieces rather than an arrangement.
Using candles and potted flowering plants for your wedding décor.

As for the romantic part, that is more personal. Everyone has a different idea of what’s romantic. I think the personal touches are what makes things romantic for a wedding.

Such as:

Writing your own vows.
Personalizing your guest’s and wedding party’s gifts.
Doing something special as part of the reception like: showing a video of pictures of you and your groom from childhood to present.
Writing a special poem, singing “your” song, or giving your partner a special personal gift.
Doing a special bride and groom dance for your guests.

The key is using your imagination, talents and most of all your heart and the romance will flow.
